Lutheran Women's Missionary League
“The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) is the official women’s auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. For 75 years, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and to support global missions.”
The objectives of the Society shall be:
To foster and support the program and objectives of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.
To provide opportunities for spiritual growth and Christian fellowship among the women of ORL.
To further a love for and to help provide for active participation in Christian Service.
The LWML at ORL is made up of the members of the organized circles and/or any woman who wishes to be a member of LWML without circle membership.
Are you Interested in joining LWML?
Membership is open to any woman who is a communicant members of ORL’s Congregation. Membership shall be made by expressing that desire to the circle or society president. New members shall be welcomed in a regular constituted society meeting.
Not listed is our NEWEST circle- Circle IV! They meet on the 4th Friday of the month at 6 PM
What’s a Circle?
Circles are working units that carry out the objectives of the Society
Each Circle engages in activities approved by the LWML and begin each meeting with a devotion or Christian topic.
They only accept free-will offerings.

LWML Sunday is the 3rd week in October
LWML Bazaar is the 2nd Saturday in November
Projects
Circle III continues to accept donations of coats and/or hoodies for Faris School & ORL Early Learning Center. Sizes needed are Coats 2-10 and Hoodies 10-16. Right now there are good sales in the stores. We will also find home for gently used coats and hoodies, any and all sizes!

Additional Mission Projects Adopted
Collect Items for layette, school, and health kits
Collect SOAP for Lutheran World Relief. Regular size bars, must be new and in original wrapper.
ORL Food Bank as needed.
